Here are our top 5 questions we get asked about training...
What machine should I use for 'Areola' and what machine should I use for 'Hairstrokes'?
ANSWER - We recommend a longer stroke or hit for body tattooing. Areola is classified as a body tattoo, and therefore, a 'Longer', 'Harder', and 'Bigger Size Cam' size cam works better. We recommend a minimum of 4.00 mm; if you have a machine with a 3.5 mm, that will work fine to begin areola tattooing. Think trauma and how the longer the stroke, the less speed needed, and the more efficiently you will work. For Hairstrokes, any machine you are currently using will be absolutely fine. Kally works with a 3.5 and a 4.2.
How do you charge for Areola Treatments? Do you cover this in the two-day and 5 day training courses?
ANSWER - Yes, Kally will explain all there is to understand about how to charge for your services. This is a delicate area, and it is asked very often. This is 100% not a question to not ask, as there are many people offering Areola Tattooing completely FREE of charge. Therefore, we understand why artists question this training and as a service to be able to offer and run a business. Do I need previous experience?
ANSWER - Now, this depends on the training course you are looking to take. We have tried to
list our courses with obvious titles;
MASTERCLASS | PRO - these are classes for previously trained artists in that area of expertise
BEGINNER | INTRO - these are classes for a new skill. The course description will clearly state if you are required to have tattooing as a prerequisite for these or not. In PMU learning a new skill, such as Areola, will require previous tattooing experience; however, a beginner diploma in PMU Eyebrows is open to anyone.
Do you have ONLINE training?
ANSWER - Yes we have lots of online Courses, Digital Downloads and Webinars available. CLICK HERE and you will be taken to our online portal.
Can I pay in instalments?
ANSWER - Yes, you can. We use a payment system called Square, which offers an option called CLEARPAY. The option using CLEARPAY will allow you to spread the amount into four instalments over six weeks. We also see many artists using PAYPAL Credit or personal credit cards. American Express is amazing for collecting points.
